2014-08-28 03:31:00 | Hi all, wonder if you could help here. Up until a few days ago I was able to happily run an autoclicker applet I use for runscape. This is until last Sunday when my HDD failed and I needed to reinstall windows 7 from scratch. I have installed the latest flash (same version I had previous to the end of my happy computing world) and updated my graphics card drivers to no avail - the applet now freezes for periods of time, making it useless of course. I do not have Java installed nor macromedia shockwave ( I may have had them before), and I could try installing these, but before I go ahead installing a plethora of stuff I wonder whether I am missing something here - like ms windows on board anti-spyware / firewalls etc I should try to kill first. Or maybe I need to uninstall something ... or install something. The security suite I use, and have been using for the past 3 years, is comodo security suite and nothing changed there either. All ideas are welcome.

2014-08-28 08:32:00 | Java did not fix it. Hi Speedy, what do you mean by pass maybe the java that browsers use? are there different types of java???

2014-08-28 08:57:00 | Pass - I dont know. Java for browsers is the only Java I've used. But I dont now. I would ask Runescape this question (thats if you mean runescape). Do you use it in a browser?? If you do what browser are you using?? If firefox is adblock installed? Maybe it's blocking something? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2014-08-28 21:29:00 | You may find now its a fresh install, the new version has been disabled / blocked somehow by runscape. Its actually against the rules to use it. Item 3 mentions it (services.runescape.com) as well as the following posts ( back in 2008) control-click-with-runescape-applet/ (www.autohotkey.com)

I decided to do a fresh reinstall before I read your post Wainui, and now I can't even change the time on the pc, let alone installing things, as I sort of don't have administrative privileges . . . Never had this issue before, to be honest, and there is only one generic user profile loaded . I am running windows 7 home What do I need to change so that I can take control of my pc? Cheers |

2014-08-30 00:42:00 | Cant do much if you're not admin. Did you do a clean install, not install windows over windows? Can you create another user then make it admin, then delete the other user? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2014-08-30 01:12:00 | If its a fresh install, and only one user account is created its automatically a limited admin account. While it is a admin account its not the "REAL" admin account, thats actually hidden. To show the "real" admin account, click start, type in cmd, right click it from the results / Run as administrator. Type in net user administrator /active:yes You should see a message - command completed successfully. Reboot the computer -- and Viola, the Admin account ;) To hide it again, do the same as before but this time type net user administrator /active:no As Speedy mentioned, your profile my be corrupted, logging in Via the admin account, removing the existing user, and create a new one. Edited: asked my son who plays on runscape sometimes about the auto clicker -- his reply -- That will get you banned and account deleted if caught. (polite version)
