| 1382492 | 2014-08-25 06:24:00 | I have a Vodafone smart mini phone which I believe is an Alcatel model. I have been able to install my own ring tone but I am unable to get 'you've got mail' message notification to work. I have down loaded MP3 file but unable to use it as a message notification. Vodafone sales rep has tried but he tells me message notifications other than those useless pre loaded ones are unable to be used. Does anyone who has one of these smart minis been able to get around this restriction. Platform (OS): Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Thanks. |

I will make a new folder "notifications' and try that. I transfered the ringtone by cennecting to my laptop and that worked OK. Thanks |
