See the complete list of courses on this page ( . www3 . hp . com/all_courses . jsp?poweredUserSegment=none&mcid=em15saleft" target="_blank">h30187 . www3 . hp . com) .

For those who have not heard of them before the courses are done online and are free . See the "How courses work" on the right-hand side of the above page . The courses are supported by their adverts on each page, which are not obtrusive and your inbox is not spammed with junk after signing up .

The courses are informative and even if you are an advanced user in a program you can often learn a few new handy tricks so they are worth looking at . I have done a few of them and found them quite useful, picking up some good tips here and there .

Have fun . :)

343102 2005-04-09 04:58:00 lol I've got something i'll like to do to HP . . . And it's not to go to any of their courses .

The stupid power supply on this HP printer, so Ive been told is screwed .

The printer still works, BUT the LCD on this HP printer brings up garbage .

The reason being the power supply is 1/2 dead . And it'll cost 77+GST for another one!

Even tho theyre courses, and free u get nothing out of it??

343103 2005-04-09 05:30:00 ok looks good, but you have to be a bit dishonest in order to signup, if you put nz in the country space, it comes back with "we do not offer courses in that locality" or words to that effect, so just leave the country as default "us", and I thought it was the world wide web, not the us wide web? robinm (7292)
343104 2005-04-09 06:41:00 Hi Robinm. I've been signed up with them for two or three years and cannot remember having to fool about like that. If its true then it must be quite recent. Scouse (83)
343105 2005-04-09 06:41:00 Ah, no Robin, there's no need to be dishonest. If you read the entire message it tells you that it will re-direct you to "your country-specific locally available HP offers". You can then sign up with NZ as your location and do the courses. That is just so they can show you adverts for products related to your locality rather than products that are not available here. FoxyMX (5)
343106 2005-04-09 07:30:00 Ah, no Robin, there's no need to be dishonest . If you read the entire message it tells you that it will re-direct you to "your country-specific locally available HP offers" . You can then sign up with NZ as your location and do the courses . Are you sure about that? I signed up ages ago anyway, but when I try to sign up again I got redirected to NZ's HP site and it looked like I was about to subscribe to a "HP's free eNewsletter and e-mail updates" thing . No mention of online courses

I think this might be a recent change, because I know some people who registered with HP online courses about 4 weeks ago and I don't think they got redirected off the main site like that .

343107 2005-04-09 08:09:00 Yeah Jen, thats what I found, a redirection to HP NZ, with no courses on that site, so it was back to the US site and sign up as a yank, with a .net.nz email address, but no probs, signup went straight thru. robinm (7292)
343108 2005-04-09 08:30:00 Hi Jen. I recently signed up again for this year's work and simply had to enter my email address and a password from last year. Scouse (83)
