| 343254 | 2005-04-10 07:17:00 | I dont have ME but I'll give you directions on how this might be solved within XP, it might still work. 1) Right click the Start bar (not the button) and go to toolbars and unselect Desktop if it is ticked. 2) Right click the desktop and select Properties. Choose the Desktop tabat the top. If there is a 'Customise Desktop' button near the bottom left then we're in business. Click that and tick the icons you would like to appear on your desktop. OK, OK. Sorry if this doesn't work in ME, I've never used it before. Hi Sal, 1) did the trick for removing My Comp. off the bottom, now I just have to get My Docs. back on the desktop. | 343255 | 2005-04-10 07:33:00 | Hi Greg, I right click on desktop then I have a choice of 'Active Desktop' then 'customise my desktop' which then takes me to Display Properties with options of background, screensavers, effects etc. I can click on properties at the bottom of the drop down list which takes me to the same.
