2005-04-10 08:37:00 | Yup :D Last I heard was that Linus Torvalds (gatekeeper for Linux) was sick of people paying for Windows, while Linux was free and not as many were using it as their main O/S. So Linus decided to charge to use Linux, so now Bill is trying to undercut him an make Windows open source :D You heard about that in Looflirpa, correct? Spell Looflirpa backwards :D

2005-04-10 08:54:00 | Besides, everyone knows that virus are made and distributed by the Anti-virus companies...... ....and that MS develped Linux in the first place,it was meant to show users how bad the alternative was, they simply misjudged the weakness of their flagship product,,,,,

2005-04-10 09:13:00 | Oh well, even if that was the case, its too damn late, Micosoft has almost lost me as a customer. Well it all depends on how much i like my Linux distro's. I have 3 to choose from. Then it's curtains to Windows for me. | timezone (7848) | |
2005-04-10 11:09:00 | If you are tired of the battered old April Fools joke, then try This Article (www.technewsworld.com) Extract: At the Open Source Business Conference in San Francisco this week, technology entrepreneurs gathered to discuss "open source capitalism." This conference theme demonstrates how the Open Source (OS) community is beginning to replace its corporate-hating mindset with a profit-loving meme, aiming to create jobs and value.

2005-04-10 14:19:00 | if Game Developers started releasing versions of their games to be installed on Linux distros, they would get a massive load of users converting to Linux from Windows. Including me. the only reason i use Windows is because of the games. but again, i guess its not upto the game developers to make users switch to Linux.

2005-04-10 22:36:00 | You're not the only one James..... Many are being ported, such as Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 etc etc.... Support the manufacturers by grabbing the Linux versions. It'll only prompt more action from the likes of Nero with NeroLINUX and Adobe with Adobe Reader 7 for Linux.
