And yes I can change it cell at a time but it's a pain having to do it sall the time.... Oh and I use Office XP... |

| 343650 | 2005-04-11 07:51:00 | I'm sure the settings are based on the regional settings for your system which are accessed through Control Panel/Regional and Language Options (or something similar). If you check your settings there, you may find they are set for English(UK). Change it and you'll probably find Excel will display the $ symbol. Cheers.
