| 344046 | 2005-04-12 10:00:00 | Hi I am running Windows xp pro and I did a system clean up and compressed old unused files. I think it was after that that some of my Office xp programs started to play up. Outlook can't find the Entry point to something in Msdart.dll when I open it (the Email works I think) and Excel wants to run the installation program when I start it up. Excel works if I cancel the installation at a certain point. All the Office programs were working before hand. I tried uncompressing the Office folder and subfolders/files as well as Windows and the system32 folder as much as I could. This is a very time consuming thing... Any help please? Thanks |

| 344047 | 2005-04-12 10:07:00 | You could see if there is a system restore point made and go back, but im not a 100% sure if that would fix it or not maybe worth a try because you can always undo the changes. | Overdrive_5000 (4950) | ||

This is where you stuffed it up. These are files you should never touch... Try to do a repair as mentioned. |
