344659 2005-04-13 23:53:00  I just installed Windows XP Pro Sp1 , and now when i hover over a link , or something to click on , my Pointer starts shaking? It doesnt do this all the time , just every now and then. I have never seen this happen before on any operating system. Doesnt stop me from clicking on anything , and really doesnt seem to affect anything , but i know this isnt normal , and really gets aggrivating. I have done online virus scans and i have scanned with my installed anti-virus (AVG Pro) .Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Thorn

344663 2005-04-14 06:57:00 Of course the mouse is shaking. You tried to hit it with a :badpc: Graham L (2)
344664 2005-04-14 08:12:00 Try to printscreen the "shaking" of your mouse. Cheers :) Renmoo (66)
344665 2005-04-14 11:42:00 Try to printscreen the "shaking" of your mouse. Cheers :) James this would not work because the screenshot will only capture 1 frame not a series of frames i.e. animation. The picture would just appear normal. Overdrive_5000 (4950)
344666 2005-04-14 11:52:00 Is it the mouse shaking... or the hand thats holding it :p

Seriously, do what pctek suggested and reload the drivers

344667 2005-04-14 13:58:00 Try a dull blank piece of paper as a mouse pad, and a cotton bud to clean the little light on the bottom. Rob99 (151)
344668 2005-04-14 17:09:00 This is a seriously stupid suggestion, how about try recording it using a videocam or whatsoever? Cheers :) Renmoo (66)
