345408 2005-04-16 00:16:00 Just downloaded and updated my AVG ver 7.0.308. But after updated the virus data base, the icon in the system tray has turned grey and the following error message pops up: 'Date of Internal Virus Database is incorrect'. The virus database is now dated 16/04/2005.

Any explanation?

345412 2005-04-16 00:48:00 Just updated mine, same drama, it states that the date of the current update is newer then my system date, both are set for todays date.

Maybe it will fix itself at midnight...

345413 2005-04-16 01:06:00 Ditto, just updated AVG on the family comp. Might shoot them an email, imagine their inbox could be pretty full at the mo though. Murray P (44)

"Don't worry about it.. it will straighten out and you are still protected. It seems someone in the virus definition area of Grisoft needs their clock checked."

345415 2006-09-27 19:05:00 internal database date incorrect?

this is due to the incorrect date of the sytstem.

correct the system date & automatically AVG comes 2 original form.
