345346 2005-04-15 12:25:00 Hi...I want to back up my FireFox bookmarks but I can't find where they are stored. Could someone help me out with this please. Ken. paradox (1082)
345347 2005-04-15 12:42:00 From the Bookmarks menu click Manage Bookmarks...

Then from the File menu select Export...

This will save them to file as HTML or web page, that can be imported by any other browser or just kept as a backup, or even written to a pen drive and taken to another computer.

345348 2005-04-15 12:44:00 Go to Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks.
Then in the screen that opens go to File>Export.... and save them where you want :)

Edit: yeah what he said ^^

345350 2005-04-15 21:08:00 Use Mozbackup, it backs up everything (or which parts you choose) and can be used with Mozilla and Firefox/Thunderbird. pctek (84)
345351 2005-04-16 12:01:00 Thanks folks...Got them backed up now. But there is one more, maybe two questions...how do I put them into Internet Explorer Favourites? It's useful to keep a IE available but since I last used it I've got heaps more bookmarks that I'd like to have on IE as well as FF. Will html go into the IE favourites folder and where is that folder? It's not in IE in Program Files. Thanks again for the tips you've already sent. Ken paradox (1082)
345352 2005-04-16 12:08:00 In IE - File - Import Export... and follow your nose. Rob99 (151)
345353 2005-04-18 12:31:00 Thanks Rob99...Got them tucked away in IE now K. paradox (1082)
