I've never heard of a PC asking for an update....Have you done all the usual, spyware/virus checks, reset the BIOS to defaults, checked if its overheating, checked PSU is OK, checked RAM? |

Firstly however, do as pctek said and run Spybot, AdAware etc. It is unusual for a BIOS to say 'hey I want updating' like this. Someone mentioned BIOS makers... in addition to the two he said there is also Phoenix (who now own Award or vice versa but still code BIOS) |

I will check my RAM but everything is running fine it seems now havent got any errors. I think what messed it up was I ran HijackThis and cleared everything that was an error so that must of messed something up.. |
