Which user did you carry out the original installation, Administrater, User/you name? Have a look at this FAQ ( . pcworld . co . nz/faq . php?faq=faq_pressf1_root#faq_new_faq_item_101" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz) and this one here ( . pcworld . co . nz/faq . php?faq=pressf1_faq_pcbasics#faq_pressf1_faq_1" target="_blank">pressf1 . pcworld . co . nz 5) . In the meantime I'll do a bit of a search . It also may be helpful to submit your error and screen shots to the Installshield Consumer and Priston websites . I cant find this temporary files or registry of Installshield where do i need to go to deleted the temporary files? . echo . cx/img134/4015/18nc . jpg" target="_blank">img134 . echo . cx . echo . cx/img62/6681/20br . jpg" target="_blank">img62 . echo . cx IScript and Engine arent there those screenshots are from another pc but all the others look the same and if you could tell me how to deteled temporary files and where to go that would be very great thx again |

However, it remains unresovled for some while others get around it. Are you looged in as Administrator while attempting to install/un-install the programmmes? Follow these links for the most common Installshield trouble shooting tasks: Lots of info and links here. (consumer.installshield.com) more specific links below. Aqquire admin pivileges (consumer.installshield.com) End previously running instances of Installshield (consumer.installshield.com) Clean up temp Directory (consumer.installshield.com), also in PF1 FAQ How to Maintain Your PC. How to determine you Instashield version and delete the Installshield engine (consumer.installshield.com) Do check out the other info links and email the error to Installshield. |

| 344912 | 2005-04-19 11:26:00 | Thats the folder. To make sure you can see all the files, while in Explorer Go to the Tools menu > Folder Options > View uncheck the Hide System Files and Hidden files. If you can now view files, right click select all or Edit menus Select all then Delete. Another way is to go to My Computer right click C drive choose Properties > Tools > Disk Cleanup button, make sure Temp and Temporary Files are checked, may as well nix IE/Internet Temp files as well, click your way out with the OK button. The follow the Installshield websites instructions for rebuilding the Installshield engine, etc. |
