| 345375 | 2005-04-15 13:35:00 | Help... Downloaded and burnt the DVD image. Booted from the DVD ok. Everything going fine... And then it gets to the point where you select where you're going to install it from. I pick CD-ROM, and I wait. It pops up and says it can't find the media. And that's as far as I've gotten so far... |

To check the integrity of the download you need to calculate the md5sum and then compare it to see if it is the same. This page (fedora.redhat.com) gives you the sums. If you don't have a running linux system check this page (www.openoffice.org) for a link to the exe file and an explanation about md5sum. |

| 345377 | 2005-04-19 09:10:00 | Well... After a lot of Google-time (and coffee), it appears that there are 'known issues' when trying to install from the DVD media. The integrity of the actual disk is fine - it has written correctly, just appears not to work... Solution: download the 4-disk CD-Rom version - Probelm solved.. |
