2005-04-15 05:39:00 | Hi All. As above. I have the "All Programmes" up on screen & it is too far to the right. There is space to the left. How do I move the 'Picture' over, or make it smaller so that I can read what is 'off screen' to the right side. Well, I can understand what I am saying !!!!!! PJ

2005-04-15 06:03:00 | I am presuming you have too many items listed in your All Programs menu? You can re-organise this very easily. Right click on the start button and select Explore. This will open up Explorer under your profile details. Have a look under the Start Menu folder > All Programs folder. If there aren't many items displayed in that folder, then have a look under All Users or Default Users folders. What you can now do is to move all the other folders into a new folder according to topic or function. For example, make a new folder called Printers, and then drag all the shortcuts/folders relating to your printers in the new folder. Do the same for your Office type applications, games etc. By rearranging your All Programs menu, you will find it will be smaller and more well organised. :)

Do this by right-clicking on the Start button, choose Properties then Classic Start Menu under the Start Menu tab. |

2005-04-15 08:35:00 | Hi All. As above. I have the "All Programmes" up on screen & it is too far to the right. There is space to the left. How do I move the 'Picture' over, or make it smaller so that I can read what is 'off screen' to the right side. Well, I can understand what I am saying !!!!!! PJ This is usually adjustable by using controls on the monitor. As I see the problem you need to shift the whole picture on the screen to the left. Leave the resolution alone if that is what suits your eyes. What make and model monitor or screen do you have?

2005-04-15 09:45:00 | Got it sussed thanks. I did some 'housekeeping', I deleted all th programmes I was not using & gave myself a half column to play with. I DO need to keep the low resolution to give me the larger icons/print/displat. Thanks All PJ
