344938 2005-04-14 23:00:00 IE has stopped opening Adobe Acrobat Reader when the link is to a .pdf file. I have recently installed Adobe Acrobat 7 as well as upgrading Adobe Acrobat Reader. How do I get IE to recognise one of these programs (again!)

344939 2005-04-14 23:05:00 Uninstall v6 if u still have it installed . Try opening V7 then edit menu/preferences . Then highlight internet .

Tick PDF in browser, and then highlight javascript under this .

Tick enable Acrobat javascript . See if that works .

From where does one acquire a copy of Internet Explorer V7?

Else - is there a way of achieving what you have suggested above in V6?

344941 2005-04-15 00:56:00 Version 7 of IE isnt available yet .

I was talking about Acrobat reader 7 not IE 7 .

I was talking about v 6 of Acrobat reader as well, NOT uninstall Internet Explorer 6, coz u cant remove it normally .
