It is a malaysian site used by their ISP to test out connection speed. They have a specific test for upload speed. Bear in mind that you will get a slower speed than what you have as it is quite far from NZ. But so far, I find that it is fairly accurate when testing my download speed.

345923 2005-04-19 10:47:00 I've just shifted to Rolleston and had to give up my nice Telstra cable connection for the crappy Xtra Jetstream. It was supposed to be all connected today. On failing to get a connection I rang the helpdesk and they said that there was a problem with the line card at the exchange and it couldn't be fixed till tomorrow (although they said last week it was to be fixed by today) and I wouldn't be connected till then. I happen to glance at my router on the way past and see some nice green lights and lo & behold I have a connection, a piss poor one but a connection none the less.

Now how can they say I can't connect and then all of a sudden connect me? Already I'm beginning to dislike this Telecom/Xtra bollocks....almost enough to make me move back into town.
