Ok I am running Zone alarm with antivirus. I would like to use the bit torrent network but I am told that there is a known conflict between these programs such that the torrent client doesn't work. Apparently the way the Zone alarm tcp packet inspector handles packets causes this problem and even if you turn off the firewall the Zone alarm software running in the background still interferes. I was wondering if anyone had had this problem before and solved it? I don't really want to uninstall Zone alarm as I have paid for it!

allow bittorrent to access the internet, tick the internet and the server boxes. try playing around with the settings, it should work. |
