| 346204 | 2005-05-18 22:50:00 | I have solved my problem of cluttered desktops. I tried QUIKMENU again but this time I did not allow it to replace the Windows desktop but set it to run as a utility. Well it installed OK but not one single command worked - I gave up. Then I read your reply PCTEK. I think years ago when I updated some computer - and left Quickmenu behind my brain went into a inoperandum permanentis condition. Of course - use the Folders in Desktop. Why I couldn't see that solution beats me. I admit it isnt as good as the old DOS QUICKMENU even in the graphics area but it does what I have been wanting to do for ages. My desktop is cleared and simple - all photo type programs in their own folder etc and I have turned off the command to move stuff into the UNUSED DESKTOP. Again thanks PCTEK for pointing out the blatantly obvious to me. Tom |
