So AMD figured it'd leapfrog Intel's dual-core Pentium announcement by launching its dual-core Opteron at an Opteron birthday bash on April 21. Only Intel started delivering its 64-bit dual-core Pentium 4 Extreme Edition chips a couple of weeks ago and started moving the 955 chipset out this past weekend. I just checked Newegg,no dual core P4's availble yet. |
