| 346190 | 2005-04-17 23:04:00 | I've captured some DV footage to my pc for editing. All had been working fine, I could play back the raw captured clips (DV .avi files) in Windows Media Player no probs, I edited the footage and have compiled and authored DVD. A few months have passed and I am now returning to editing and making a few more edits (using the same original captured footage). Now when I try and play the raw captured footage in WMP I get no sound. If I open my video editing app (Video Studio) if I play just the selected clip I get no sound, but if I play the entire project (compilation of several clips) the sound works. Has anyone experienced this and found a solution. I suspect something has gone awry with a codec or something, but am not sure what to do to fix things. Thanks, A. |
