Can anyone help me with this one? Whenever I change the font size in Outlook Express / Word or Word pad. above size 12, the letters appear in almost a bold, sizes 8-9-10-11-12 are ok but all sizes above are affected. My o/s is Windows ME. |

have you tried printing after this happened and if so does the printout appear in bold also |

Thanks for reply, no I havn't tried printing, it's when I try to write in "word" or an e-mail and want to use a larger font on a line the letters come out almost as dark as in bold. |

That effect can be quite normal. You are using a bigger point size so that the letter appears thicker and therefore darker in appearance than smaller point size fonts. It isn't really bold, just a visual phenomenon. :) |
