| 346791 | 2005-04-19 22:23:00 | Grrr - this is about the dumbest query I've ever asked... When I start up XP (SP1) used to just load, but the other day it started prompting me for my user password! :yuck: I can't remember how to bypass this prompt... I seem to recall it used to do this when I first installed XP but somehow I disabled it. There's only two users on this machine and we both have full admin, ie there's no user profiles etc. (no password has ever been set. To get past the prompt all I do is press Enter) Thx for any help to this Homer. |
