347414 2005-04-22 00:07:00 ive got TDK NP100 headphones, the sort that go around the back of your head, bought for about $20 from DSE in westfield, glenfield, auckland 5 months ago or so.

They're connected to an extension cord that goes to the audio port on the computer (no speakers/didn't work well).

They've worked fine and have a nice sence of 3d sound......untill now

Problem:
The left ear speaker 'rattles' or makes a 'spark' noise when sound is playing.
 Does this mean that they're too budget and have broken on the inside somehow? its annoying having this rattling electical noise in the left ear speaker all the time. It seems to happen in songs with bass. or movies with heavy atmosphere sound.

347415 2005-04-22 00:15:00 They cost $20? Well you usually get what you pay for. Take them back for another pair or a refund. FoxyMX (5)

347417 2005-04-22 00:23:00 The seven-day warranty is for trying things out after buying - it lets you return the goods if they are not suitable for what you require.

For faulty goods they would have a longer warranty period than that, usually one year so trot along to the store and have a friendly word with them. You may not get a refund if they can swap them for another pair but if not then you should be able to get your money back.

Remember to take your receipt with you. ;)
