| 347661 | 2005-04-22 13:24:00 | My computer is running by its own rules! Whenever I play either of Valves 'Source' based games my computer will eventually freeze/lockup with a blue screen error of: 'IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL' I have tried messing with my IRQ configuration but I am unable to change anything. Everything is static and cannot be changed. I will post my IRQ assignments and system specs as replies to this post. But first, another problem. When this does happen, I restart my computer. While booting up, the BIOS/POST screens sometimes don't load properly. The errors are various with the screens sometimes not loading at all, sometimes only loading 20-30% of the screen. Very weird, please help as much as you can, I've exhausted myself trying to fix this. I should add that this is a home built machine. |

Is the video using shared motherboard memory? That's what I thought also. My computer is happy running Warcraft3, CS 1.5, CS 1.6 and CS: CZ. The motherboard has no onboard video, I have a 6600GT with 128MB RAM. I will run a memory test and post results later tonight. |
