| 348479 | 2005-04-24 23:09:00 | We have a very slow dial-up connection. We use ie6 with 98se. The mouse cursor frequently flickers badly while pages are loading and frequently freezes. Solutions please! |

| 348481 | 2005-04-25 00:59:00 | I have had this with a similar system, and have found it is usually another programme trying to access the internet, maybe spyware. If you have a firewall such as ZoneAlarm, it should be warning you of programmes trying to access without your permission. You could also do the "three finger" Ctrl/ Alt/ Del to see what is running at that particular time when it flickers. |

| 348483 | 2005-04-25 02:50:00 | 1) You may need to try a different browser . I recommend Mozilla Firefox which is available as a free download at Mozilla . Org (www . mozilla . org) (4 . 73MB) or on this Month's PC World Cover CD . 2) Your system may be infected with Spyware or Malware . I recommend running 'Adaware' or 'Hijack This' to find out what is running on your system . Both are available as free downloads . 3) Your system may have become clogged up . How long have you been running this computer before? Have you ever had any problems before? Did this problem start when you installed IE6? Please give us more information . |

| 348485 | 2005-04-25 03:31:00 | He has already said he has a really slow dialup connection. How long is it going to take to download 4.73MB over it? Do you really have to ask questions like that? If you read more than the first line you would have noticed that I also stated that it's available on the PC World Cover CD... |
