349335 2005-04-27 06:25:00 I'm not sure if this is an allowed topic here but I'll ask anyway.
I would like to do two things.
1. Make a compilation DVD of favourite tracks from my DVD music collection.
2. Rip the audio tracks off some DVDs to make a cd to play in the car.
Can anyone suggest suitable software for either project. I think the first task is possible but I don't know if the second is.
Cheers

349336 2005-04-27 07:10:00 Dunno about ripping audio from dvd (havent tried this myself) but u can use dvdshrink to rip the DVD then take out what u dont want .

Then burn it back to another DVD with Nero . Nero might rip the tracks off the dvd (If u have a PC DVD ( I take it u have a burner) .

Not too sure tho . Haven't tried this either .

349338 2005-04-27 22:02:00 You can use Goldwave to rip the sound from Vob files that you've got on your PC after using DVD Shrink

This may be of interst to some regarding DVD Backups:

Cheers.
