1384831	2014-09-26 22:28:00	I'd like to transfer some data from my old desktop's two IDE drives to my laptop. I can get the drives to run, but with no operating system nor monitor. So I'm coping something like an ATA to USB cable would work so I can si,mple see the data and transfer it using Windows Explorer. Desktop is/was XP, lappie is Win 8.1. Thanks.	Greg (193)

Its reliability is reflected in its price. I no longer use it, preferring to shutdown and hook the drive(s) directly to the MOBO instead of going through the USB. SLower, but not as tedious as when the damned above item 'looses' its connection with the drive in the middle of a big transfer. Your experience may differ (hopefully).	Paul.Cov (425)
1384837	2014-09-30 08:44:00	I've got one as well. Its reliability is reflected in its price. Ditto -- Had a couple of the cheap ones as per trademe, failed more times than worked. The digitus (more expensive) I linked has never failed when using it. ( apart from when the drive was failing to start with)	wainuitech (129)
