| 1384573 | 2014-09-23 00:00:00 | I'm building a new computer and I have 2 of the I-INC 28" 1920x1200 and I really love them. But now I see the 30" 2560x1600 and I figure I just got to have one. Personally I wouldn't have a 2560x1440 because the I-INC's I have now has me spoiled with the big screen. So I figure if I really want to play some games I just have to have this big monitor. So my question is what would be the best video card for it. I'm thinking the R9-270X but what a monster at almost 16 inches. Of course the i5 4690 will be running this operation. I just want some feedback on this 30" monitor which I can get for $400 but I thought I would ask if anyone knows anything about these monitor? | lostsoul62 (16011) | ||

The higher the resolution the more work it is and the more powerful a graphics card you need, that's the trade off with nice high res monitors. I assume 16 inches was a typo, they are about 11-12 for most with aftermarket coolers, which is big but about normal for a decent gaming card. I was considering a 2560 x 1440 but because running games smoothly is more important to me than resolution I went with a 1920 x 1080 27" instead, still looks nice enough for me. And that's with an r9 290. Never heard of any of these monitors, what country are you in? a 30" monitor at that price sounds like a dream. |

As to the monitors, both the I-INC monitors I've used (one 22" one 27") have just seemed to be the junky rubbish from CheapChina.com or whatever with a rebrand, would not touch personally, but it's a small sample size so who knows. Maybe they are better these days. | inphinity (7274) | ||
