| 1384526 | 2014-09-21 05:38:00 | Depending on what you are running, it may or may not get it all if its malware. Some instructions - be warned to run all the programs can be a all day job depending on the spec's, amount of HDD used etc :) malwaretips.com |

| 1384528 | 2014-09-21 07:04:00 | thanks for that , its up to 40% so far and has picked up nothingMalware is only one possible cause. When you say you are running a "Security Scan" -- What program - Theres a Lot of them. ? As mentioned some malware, badly written programs or add ons can cause this, OR it can be faulty Ram. If its only crashing in IE, try running IE in safe mode with no add-ons, see what happens. run-internet-explorer-9-without-addons-in-safe-mode/ (www.addictivetips.com) Malware can put in unwanted badly written add-ons As mentioned What-Is-Page-Fault-in-Nonpaged-Area (hubpages.com) The Non-Paged area is an area of memory that contains data that is critical for the running of the system. This data is always required, so instead of swapping the data back and forth between the RAM and the page file, the data is kept constantly active, in the non-paged area of RAM. Basically something is trying to write to memory, and going all wrong, thus causing the OS to crash, ( as per ntoskrnl.exe caused by Address /Driver in the screen shot) |

| 1384529 | 2014-09-21 21:06:00 | Ok , my apologies for not replying sooner , will try that , was running Kaspersky online scanner,, it picked up 12 problems but unable to find what they were because it would not connect for some reason, going to get on it again today | PeterQ (16315) | ||
| 1384530 | 2014-09-21 21:29:00 | I would get one of these rescue cds (www.thewindowsclub.com) to scan the system. You have to burn the ISO to cd then boot from it. Or get the USB install if it's got the option |
