1370984 2014-03-22 20:54:00 With the upcoming Release of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0 those that might not be aware they are moving to a Annual Licence Subscription ($US24)

If you don't have Malwarebytes Pro now (which is a lifetime Licence ),get it here at a good Rate store.downloadcrew.com

Or here store.malwarebytes.org

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0 RC1 will pick up your current Licenced status converting it to Premium

1370985 2014-03-22 21:52:00 Personally wouldn't buy the pro version.

While malwarebytes is good, the following in their Brochure " clean up malware that other security products may have missed"

What about the malware it misses ?? It doesn't detect everything.

BUT if someone is using the pro, its a good saving.

While the subject is on Malwarebytes & Nortons, take a look at this phone image of a Malwarebytes scan on a computer running Nortons. For those who can't see the results MB found 1886 infections!!

1370990 2014-03-23 01:45:00 It's worth it for that $ for the real time scanning, especially if planning to stick with XP. Of course it's not going to catch everything, nothing can make that sort of guarantee but it's better than nothing. Alex B (15479)

:tui: Yep, according to Nortons the machine was all clean! It's not the first time I've had this result from a machine running Nortons. I keep several images like this on my phone to show people who want to re-subscribe to 'their Norton infection'!!

1370992 2014-03-23 04:46:00 5643Sorry about the phone image quality but here is another result from a machine that Norton says was clean. Scanned with Hitman - 30,006 infections! Paul Ramon (11806)
1370993 2014-03-23 05:27:00 Malwarebytes(Pro version) has problems with some Anti-Virus which I had with Nod Eset, when it got to the Heuristic scan it got up to 20,000 infections

After a couple of days of Forums the fix was un-install and running the Malwarebytes cleaning tool and re-installing which fixed it

With Norton, many say it's a virus anyway
