1370343 2014-03-16 23:49:00 It's rubbish they're are trying to 'talk-up' the economy.

The only way to do it is to get as many people as possible working cooperatively on a coherent plan which allows the building of the Nation of New Zealand and gives material benefits to all the people in the country, based on what is actually possible given what we know of usable resources in the country, not pie-in-the-sky following of mad right wing american think-tank nonsense being followed by our sycophant politicians.

I haven't got a clue. Only thing I know is that in an apparent contradiction, my services are more in demand, but harder to persuade potential customers to sign up with me.

1370346 2014-03-17 02:48:00 I don't believe those surveys either.

I look at two shopping centres in my area and there are plenty of carparks, whereas 2 years ago you had to drive round looking.
(of course that could be due to more internet banking etc)

And when I see people getting jobs in a big way,
And the unemployment rate coming down to say 3%
then I'll vote True.

1370347 2014-03-17 04:04:00 The answer depends on two things,
1/. Which consumer?
2/. Confident of what?

I am pretty confident the Parliamentary Pension Scheme will be boosted before xmas.

Not necessarily. According to all the reports that came out after the Christmas shopping period, the majority of us were happy to spend with a bit more freedom than previous years.

What service to do you offer, Greg?

1370350 2014-03-17 04:31:00 I service the Building Industry and has gone from a low point to a very sharp increase though interest rate increases may have a affect later on Lawrence (2987)
