| 1369957 | 2014-03-11 19:06:00 | You know, it's not just Countdown doing this pricing stuff with suppliers. So does places like Warehouse, Briscoes etc......and not just on food. My son worked at a suppliers and discovered that years ago.... I do notice Countdown often have smoked (re-packaged in those sealed plastic things) fish available - it's made from what they didn't sell - like Tarakihi. Tarakihi isn't normally smoked in the first place....How much does Pak n Save and New World waste? Do they have a Salvation Army donation scheme like Countdown? And while the waste of fish is sickening, I don't understand the recreational fishers complaint. So Snapper has been cut from 9 fish to 7 allowed. I can't imagine eating 7 snapper....and who wants to freeze it? |
