| 1370185 | 2014-03-19 05:20:00 | Maybe God reached out his hand and took them? About as likely as the Devil reaching up and pulling them down, in fact quite a bit less likely. Statistically, there's a higher probability that they crashed into Santa's Sleigh on his way back to the North Pole after his summer vacation. Cheers Billy 8-{) :waughh: |

And still the media continues to push the conspiracy theories..................... |

Which in turn raises the question of why the Control Tower didnt ask him where the hell he thought he was going. :groan: Im afraid we are being treated like mushrooms. Kept in the dark and fed s..t. ;) |

It's a sad testimony to the state of the world that a plane goes missing and we go straight to theories of hijacking and terrorism. I'd be thinking along the lines of that pilots theory until evidence of foul play was found myself. Lets hope for the families sake they are all alive somewhere but the odds are not great I fear. My work can GPS track my car and I can't disable it, maybe this is a wake up call that it's time to improve the tracking systems on aircraft. Some sort of isolated standalone tracking system as a backup would seem wise, in this day and age when a plane goes missing I'd expect them to be able to track it's movements. |

Agree with that. |

This incident may force a change in tracking systems Not because it might save lives , but because it will save $$$ . Theres a huge cost in the loss of a plane, a huge cost in trying to find the missing plane, a huge cost in loss of faith in that airline (lost sales) . The bean counters will be motivated by $$$ . |

| 1370192 | 2014-03-20 03:52:00 | GPS sounds about right, it's technology can't fly below the radar beam. Dual key lock for the transponder would be another solution one to be in hands of the head Air Hostess/Cabin Crew personnel. Lurking. |
