1369736 2014-03-08 21:21:00 No idea about Metro.
I could have deleted page from application page.
Can' believe they would abandon that, used it all the time.

In Desktop, right click on Start button (4 squares thingy on left of toolbar)...that brings up a menu with Task manager on it.

1369738 2014-03-09 01:09:00 Just a couple of obvious changes with this update ( put it on a workshop PC)

1. Shutdown/Restart/signout Button now available top right of start Screen.
2. Search button as well ( not needed as you simply type in what you want and search opens)
3. Store Icon on desktop Task Bar ( can be disabled / unticked under preferences)
4. Metro Apps now have a minimize and close option at top when moving cursor to top of screen, either top right or from the icon top left (no need to drag to close)
5. Move the mouse cursor to bottom of screen when metro apps open, brings up the desktop task bar.

More to find no doubt, nothing thats really a game changer for those who find 8 /8.1 to hard to learn.

1369739 2014-03-09 01:53:00 And the 3 options when you right mouse on the current wireless connection Speedy Gonzales (78)
1369740 2014-03-09 03:38:00 Not big changes, but makes it a bit more user Friendly: (you really have to try them to fully understand)

*When right clicking a tile on the start screen the menu options pop up from the right click, not across the bottom of the window.

*In the hidden apps, ( down arrow on start page) the Sort by Name is now Alphabetical with icons listed under headings of A, B , C etc

*You can now pin tiled apps to the desktop task bar. Minimize and maximize from the task bar.

* Theres a new feature in IE called "Enterprise mode", needs to be activated by gpedit, but most people wouldn't use it anyway.

1369742 2014-03-09 07:52:00 There may be some setting in its options to disable, otherwise, try bringing up the task manager ctrl+Alt+ Del, click on the start up tab, find it in the list ( assuming its there) - disable. wainuitech (129)
1369743 2014-03-13 09:01:00 Looks like Microsoft are starting to push out the updates for 8.1.1.? The update KB2919442, which is also the first one that needs to be installed has appeared:

1369744 2014-03-13 19:59:00 Nothing has appeared here yet. Altho if its the one that leaked its installed already. Looks like that one maybe identical to the one that leaked. Well same date on it and same size for the x64 file Speedy Gonzales (78)
