Errrrrrrrr not unless someone's being nice and giving a legit Windows away. When you buy components for a build, the OS is still charged for, its OEM.

OEM is NOT free. The only real free one is the 90 day trials.

As for the problem still, its defiantly the chipset problem. Did you install the USB drivers from Asrock as well ?

Other wise try these downloadcenter.intel.com If that doesn't work, on the right is a couple of links, select Intel Driver Update Utility. It will check for updates required.

1384659 2014-09-25 03:27:00 Just a thought, did you install the LAN drivers as well ? Pays to install the drivers for the motherboard from the manufactures site, Windows doesn't always auto detect and install the right ones. wainuitech (129)
1384660 2014-09-25 03:56:00 installed LAN and usb drivers already.

installing the ones from the intel website with the link provided.

i usually included linux and a 90 day trial of windows with the cheap computers a build.

if someone is paying a decent sum for a pc they can pay for windows and less headaches for me.

1384661 2014-09-25 04:01:00 installing from the intel site resulted in unknown device coming into existence again. Mirddes (10)
1384662 2014-09-25 04:40:00 Look on whatever site for the mobo drivers. The drivers should be there. If it's not Intel it maybe Asmedia 104x drivers , if youre looking for those USB 3 drivers

Or instead of using that java based thing youre using download the drivers then see if they work

1384663 2014-09-25 04:56:00 See if this works here
(www.toshiba.eu)

Extract this then go to the win7 \ x86 folder. Add them thru device manager under driver tab

Thats if whatever isnt installed is under the USB3 info you posted

1384664 2014-09-25 05:08:00 But really it shouldnt need drivers. Does it appear in the BIOS. or appear on the post screen? Speedy Gonzales (78)
1384665 2014-09-25 05:17:00 Here's some reviews about it and maybe some fixes (www.amazon.com)

See if windowsupdates picks up drivers for it
Speedy Gonzales (78)
1384666 2014-09-25 05:28:00 And what entries are still showing in device manager as having no driver? Since you've installed the other drivers? Speedy Gonzales (78)
