| 1369725 | 2014-03-08 07:47:00 | I'm surprisingly happy with 8.1 If you think of the Metro interface as a full-screen start menu, it's not _really_ that bad. Some of the things are kinda stupid, like trying to pair via bluetooth switches you to Metro interface, but opening other settings just does it in a window. Otherwise, it's like Windows 7 really, only a few extra nice things like the copy dialog... I've found it marginally faster too! Welcome to W8 :D Its what some of us have been saying since day 1 ;) set it up to how you like by removing all the stuff thats never used and you have W7 without the old style start menu. Just adding to the post dugimodo made, I dont know how many times I've gone to do something that I now do automatically with W8 on W7 and gone "oh Crap" old OS wont do that :yuck: |
