NZ is a Commonwealth country & the UK is morally bound to trade with us & help us if another country has a go at us. Sure the UK is also part of the EU, abeit unwillingly bt the general public. If Commonwealth countries abanon The Commonwealth, then the UK will surely become closer to the EU. Will that be good for us. Another thought. If no Queen as Head of State then Who.? President Key!!! NZ Army vehicles display the white kiwi rather than the white fern which could easily be mistaken for the white feather of cowardice. They stopped buying most of the lamb and butter and stuff ages ago, it's why we run around sucking up to China and other countries now. And if a flag makes a difference, well, how petty. I'm with Key on this one, I like the fern idea for the flag. |
