| 1370593 | 2014-03-18 19:22:00 | I don't receive any 'paper' bill just because I've signed up to 'My Telecom'. Logged in to 'My Telecom' - Bill Preferences, hoping to change the billing options, but there isn't. Any one here having the same problem? I would prefer to get a paper bill as well, how do I do it? cheers |

| 1370596 | 2014-03-18 20:47:00 | Just rang them, was told that effective May, there will be a charge of $1.50 per billing for paper bills. That's just too much. He couldn't answer me as to why there isn't any option in the 'Bill Preferences' for customers to choose; and, why I did NOT receive any paper bills for the past two months. This is Telecom, with a Million-Dollar CEO. |

I may have found out that Genesis Energy don't provide mail you an invoice if you pay by credit card. We just wanted the cashback points and to pay on time and not miss the prompt payment discount. We missed 1 or 2 b/c the mail got loss in the mail system. I checked out Contact Energy in the past they are more $$ IME. They offer the 22% online discount which then aligns themselves to others that offer the 10%. But ... you couldn't get mail out invoices so if you didn't pay by auto payment and you miss a payment on time they hammer you. |

I can also download a PDF file. From the site. You could probably print the bill out and use that.If it's there. I usually pay by internet banking. Saves me going to Postshop to pay it |

| 1370600 | 2014-03-18 21:25:00 | They say it's not for landline only customers - so the elderly who aren't up to speed with technology are exempted. But if you have a family which the kids need the Internet. A busy family who is not really IT savy may forget about eBills if they don't set up auto payment. There are people that choose not to have smartphones. A paper bill is larger reminder. If it was just email - you may not check it so frequenly or you just brisk thru them past all those junk mails. Some people I know now, myself included use less and less emails and preferring IM chats. I get my email notifications off my smartphone. Some of the banks, not sure if is the same with Telecom, do they email you an invoice or do you have to deliberately log in to see the invoice? Me - I have forgotton to pay a CC bill on time and been charged interest. That particular CC bill says invoice statements cost you X dollars per month. | Nomad (952) | ||

| 1370602 | 2014-03-18 22:45:00 | why I did NOT receive any paper bills for the past two months. Because that's one of the benefits of signing up for My Telecom, not to have the hassle of paper bills. Unless they've removed it recently, that used to be pretty obviously stated during the signup. |
