350237 2005-04-29 09:59:00 Hello,
I have created a font using Paint, but I wish to be able to type this font. I have searched on the net but everything I've found requires payment, which is not ideal. If anyone knows of a way I can create this font and type it, any information/links would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
Xcalibre_24.

350238 2005-04-29 10:08:00 Hi Xcalibre_24.
Welcome to Press F1!

I can't remember the name of this, but someone else may be able to tell you.

There is a website on which you print out a table which has the alphabet on it. There are squares for you to write in your own font. Once you have completed that you scan it and upload it to the website. They will then create a font file for you instantly. It was also free.

It was aired on TechTV, back in the day when it was broadcasted here.

350239 2005-04-29 10:11:00 Yeah, that sounds like what I'm looking for ...
As long as it'll let you copy and paste your custom made characters from paint files it'd be ideal.
Anyone who knows of this link please post back asap
cheers

350242 2005-04-29 10:17:00 You will have to resize your characters to fit the template. Then just copy and paste them into the template, then print it out. Tribomb (5547)
350243 2005-04-30 01:03:00 Fontifier isn't free anymore - you can only preview the font, you gotta pay $9 to download the actual font file. :( Mary (6534)

350245 2005-04-30 06:21:00 If you made your font in Paint, it may well be a pixel font. Here's a site where you can create a pixel font online for free

www.pentacom.jp

It's quite good.
