| 350084 | 2005-04-28 19:05:00 | I have a VA-503+ motherboard running AMD K6-2 500MH processor with 196MB Ram. The m/board has an AGP slot. I would like to update my video card so I can have 3D graphics. I have bought a GeForce 2 MX 200 64MB off TradeME and I have the drivers for it. 1. Is the m/board and graphics card compatible? 2. I have heard that if the wrong video card is inserted in the m/board it could damage the m/board!! 3. Is there anything I should know before I install the graphics card? Looking forward to your replies. |

| 350087 | 2005-05-02 20:57:00 | I went to your motherboards manufactureres website and looked up the specs. Then looked on Nvidias website to see what AGP speed the card has. | pctek (84) | ||
| 350088 | 2005-05-02 23:45:00 | it should work fine. the only problems they had was some of the high current cards eg GF2pro not the mx series. also sometimes a liitle glitchy with 32meg+ cards tho i think the drivers sorted that issue out. | tweak'e (69) | ||
