| 350049 | 2005-05-01 08:37:00 | I would've set up the XP computer's networking first, then the 98 one. Doing it the other way causes problems in my experience (especially when its just on crossover) Could it be worthwhile uninstalling the driver on the 98 P/c and reinstalling it? |

| 350051 | 2005-05-04 06:27:00 | I was following this thread to try to get my Third computer on line and on the network. Number one is XP Pro, Number two is XP Home (both are Laptops wep encrypted) number 3 is our old win98se PC. No1 can ping No2 & No3, I assume No2 can Ping No1 & No3(I am scared to touch it) But No3 cannot ping No1 or No2. I know it is probably the encryption thats causing the problem but how do I enable encryption (WEP64bit) on the Win98SE computer? |
