350096 2005-04-29 03:00:00 NOt long ago I said the COUNTER SPY was one of the best and I had it confimed today...see below
As you know, PC World compared a whole bunch of antispyware tools in April. CounterSpy came up as the 2005 Best Buy.
You can see the chart here:
www.sunbelt-software.com

WHen you compare the cost with what it does for you There is no contest.....

350097 2005-04-29 03:55:00 Slightly biased. For instance they compare counterspy (pay software) with AdAwares free version - why not AdAwares pay version which does have all the features?
But as everyone says, its always safest to have more than one program and prevention is better than cure too.

I am confused over your statement, Rob. Recently I've downloaded both MS Antispyware and CounterSpy. Both look similar. Should I keep only one of those and or should I keep both?

Cheers :)

350103 2005-06-01 22:00:00 I have only one objection with Counterspy. Its "prevention" features are only of use for IE. Bit biased, what about those using Mozilla or Opera or something else? pctek (84)
350104 2005-06-02 02:42:00 I prefer to use "ProcessGuard". Stops all unapproved executables from running ! KiwiTT_NZ (233)
