I was wondering if i could actually set my browsers ie Firefox and IE to download all the links on the pages, so that whenever i click on a link, the page pops up immediately. I have a 2mbps connection and i dont download much so i want to make use of this fast 10gb connection to enchance my web browsing. Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated |

| 349840 | 2005-04-28 09:17:00 | Isnt that the point of adsl?? To make sites / things load faster? Or add whatever sites to your bookmarks, or get Opera and add them to your personal bar. They'll appear at the bottom of the screen (about 17 links). Then all u haveta do is click on one, and you're at the site. |

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated Don't know about IE, I don't bother with the thing anymore, but for FF (if you can't find the Extensions & Plugins bookmark) go to the Tools menu, click on Extensions the on the Get More Extension button. Look for Navagation (Copy Links is one) and Download Tools, to get you started. There are heaps of useful extensions that may be hiding under categories you might not expect to find them in, have a good look around and check out the authors websites for more info on what each one does. You might want to maximise the simultaneous connections to servers (that support it) by editing about:config in FF. Come to think about it, I think there is an extension for that too. |

| 349842 | 2005-04-28 09:40:00 | there is a few browser addon's and seperate programs that do download everything on a page. can't remeber the one i have tried.....netcaptor ?? just be aware you will download far more than you will see. tho excellent for veiwing offline later on. |
