350952 2005-05-01 04:52:00 the 256mb gf 6600gt is expensive/rare...is 128 decent? to last another few years of up 2 date gaming?

is it worth upgrading my asus/via kt600 mobo for a pci-e one? or wont it make much performance difference, if not ill just get extra ram and new gfx card, snore tanks

Not rare. Expensive yes. In comparison. Nothing wrong with 128mb.
Of course it will last - my son is still using his Ti4200 128mb without any problem and its coming up 3 years old.

Performance on the MB - depends what else is in your PC really. It will improve it but depends on your budget.

350959 2005-05-01 05:36:00 With each newer game you'll probably just have to drop the detail another level to get it to play smooth. ;) vapo (5203)
350960 2005-05-01 06:39:00 128 MB will be fine. The GPU is the most important part. ad_267 (6193)
