| 350938 | 2005-05-01 04:03:00 | A couple of years ago I downloaded MSN Explorer and chose to have some of my Hotmail emails "archived on local disk". I would like to know whereabouts on the "local disk" these are stored (I assume they are on my hard drive). I have searched unsuccessfully everywhere. I have also checked the MSN Help section without luck. I have also been unable to find out how I did this archiving and how I would do it if now if I chose to do so with other Hotmail emails. I am keen to make sure that they are backed up. | allcamp (1882) | ||

| 350940 | 2005-05-01 07:55:00 | Thank you johnboy for this tip. It explains why I can't find the feature to archive more emails (MSN no longer offer it!). I followed the tip but when I tried entering the %appdata ... into the Run dialog box for some reason the autocomplete did not add my user id and I received an error message indicating it could not find it. It looks like I may have to open each archived message in MSN Explorer and copy and save them individually to a folder unless you or someone else has a better idea - I can read the messages. I appreciate your help. :) | allcamp (1882) | ||
