| 351591 | 2005-05-03 00:55:00 | I have an Athlon XP 2200 with fan. married to a Gigabyte m/board. Last week the pc failed to boot, no monitor, nothing. Couldnt even get to the bios. Checked out the graphics card and found the fan had seized and assumed the card had fried itself. Chnaged the graphics card, still no joy. Removed all the cards, hard drives, cd drives , floppys etc and still nothing. The ram light shows on the motherboard and the cpu fan runs but no action. Replaced the motherboard with a new one and also a new graphics card. Still no go, no monitor nothing. The monitor is okay, have tried 2 different monitors as well. Has the cpu fried as well? Help |
