| 351254 | 2005-05-02 21:07:00 | The point on the Pro that I find is that you have more control over it than the free one. Component level control for instance. And a few other options like flash, banners etc that you can turn on or off. A firewall isn't like a virus checker - it just blocks access. So what updates do you need? Mines doing the job well and thats all that matters to me. I use other programs in addtion - anti-spyware, anti-virus, spyware blockers and non-MS browsers and email etc. Plus my router has a firewall as well. Combination of things really, which everyone should do, not rely on one solution only. |
