352054 2005-05-04 13:06:00 I would love to see Microsoft answer with a straight up yes or no answer one of these days... They always beat around the bush and never seem to give a crystal clear answer to the question. Almost as though they are trying to make you see through their distorted vision:

Is the goal to have a Windows Mobile phone in every pocket just like the goal is to have a Windows PC on every desk?

Well there’ll always be tons of operating systems. There’ll always be tons of software stacks in mobile phones. We’re trying to make the best software we can and we have no shortage of ideas where we can make that phone way better than it is today.

^^This is a prime example.
Even something like "We would like to, but primarily see ourselves dominating the desktop market, so it is less of a priority" would have been better!

"Do you think that the price of longhorn will be less than that which windows XP currently is"

Now that could be answered two main ways:
"Yes"
Or:
"We feel that the pricing of Windows Longhorn should be based on the quality of the software, and competitive of other current offering in the marketplace at the time. We will also take in to consideration the geographical location of where Longhorn is being sold, and the state of the software market in it."

Personally I would prefer the "Yes" answer over the second speil ;)

352057 2005-05-05 03:43:00 How silly will we all look if Longhorn proves to be the best software to ever be unleashed upon the earth?

muhahahahaha.

I was reaching for my sharp stick whiletrying to read that interview, only made it few a few hundred words at best. So much waffle.
