| 352364 | 2005-05-14 11:48:00 | I too have the same problem where I can no longer see pictures in Word 2002. I recently upgraded my desktop to Office 2002 and now the pictures in my docs don't display. I have a 1GB RAM + 256MB video RAM, so I'm certain its not the hardware. I thought it may have been the upgrade from 2000, so I uninstalled 2000/2002 completely and just put a fresh install of 2002 on. Same result. I have 2002 on my laptop and it works fine. If I select the pic and move it a fraction it will show. It will print ok, but just can't be seen without touching it. Did anyone find a solution? Gotta love Microsoft. They probably get the most money from each PC user than any other vendor, and yet their support is the worst. No wonder Bill has so much money! Thanks Cam |

| 352366 | 2005-05-16 10:32:00 | Thank you johnboy None of the software options worked, but the pictures returned when I reduced my hardware acceleration down by three levels on my Radeon 9600 XT graphics card. There are many other Radeon settings in there, so perhaps there is less intrusive fix too. I will have a play with some other settings when I get more time. At least I have a fix for now. Thanks very much for your help. Cam |
