| 352116 | 2005-05-04 19:30:00 | I have an HP Pavillion zd8000 with a ATI Mobility Radeon X600 and have been using it for about 2 weeks now. I have installed the latest drivers for my Graphics card from the HP Website. My Problem is: After a while of using my computer I got screen glitch and eventually the screen just went blank, although the LCD Display is still on (i can tell because of the screen glow). Now whenever I boot up normally after the windows loading screen it just goes blank. I can boot into safe mode fine but do not know a fix for this problem. I have formatted and reinstalled Windows already to Try to fix this...didnt work. www.mulgoreguardians.com |

| 352119 | 2005-05-04 22:11:00 | I fixed this by using Omega Drivers but now when I run DxDiag It i stating I cant use Direct3d and that my available video memory is n/a(whats with that). when I run Call of Duty it says it cant run OpenGL. Right now I have hardware acceleration set to one below max on the slider under Display>Advanced>Troubleshoot. If I set the bar to max the screen glitches and I get alot of lag, but even with the slider set to max I get the opengl and direct3d problems. Updated DxDiag: www.mulgoreguardians.com |
